[Admins] NOW Panel Overview
As a Broker/Admin, your NOW Panel works the same way as it does for Agents — see the NOW Panel Overview for a full explanation of tabs, opportunity types, acting on and dismissing opportunities.
This article covers the three Admin-only features in the NOW Panel: viewing another Agent’s opportunities, the badge counter behavior, and the Price Reduction threshold setting.
View Opportunities by Agent
As a Broker/Admin, you can view the NOW Panel filtered to a specific Agent, all Agents on the team, or just your own leads.
To change whose opportunities you’re viewing:
Open your NOW Panel by clicking the NOW icon in the top-right corner.
Click the All Agents dropdown at the top of the panel.
Type or select the Agent whose opportunities you want to view.
To return to the team-wide view, open the dropdown and select All Agents.
Note: Network Admin users can also filter by platform (website) before filtering by Agent, using the platform dropdown that appears above the All Agents dropdown. |
How the NOW Icon Badge Count Works
The number displayed on your NOW icon always reflects your own unaddressed opportunities — not the Agent whose panel you’re currently viewing.
⚠ Important: If you see a number on your NOW icon but the Live Feed appears empty, this is expected behavior. Listing Reduced opportunities only appear when the panel is filtered to a specific Agent — they do not appear in the All Agents view. Select your own name from the All Agents dropdown to see them. |
Opportunity Wall Settings: Price Reduction Threshold
By default, any price reduction on a listing will generate a Listing Reduced opportunity in your team’s NOW Panel. As a Broker/Admin, you can set a minimum reduction percentage that a listing must meet before it triggers an opportunity for your Agents.
To configure the Price Reduction threshold:
Click your photo or name in the top-right corner of your BoomTown account.
Select Opportunity Wall Settings from the dropdown.
Choose a minimum percentage from the dropdown, or leave it set to Any to surface all price reductions.
Click Update Settings to save.
Note: This setting applies to your entire team. Raising the threshold reduces the number of Listing Reduced opportunities your Agents see in their Live Feed. Lowering it (or setting it to Any) increases them. |
Frequently Asked Questions
If I’m viewing another Agent’s opportunities and act on one, does it count for them or for me?
Actions taken through the Opportunity Details page always apply to your own account. Acting on an opportunity while viewing another Agent’s panel will update your Acted On tab, not theirs. To take action on behalf of an Agent, open the lead’s full profile directly.
Why does my NOW icon show a number but the Live Feed is empty?
This happens when your unaddressed opportunities include Listing Reduced opportunities, which only appear when the panel is filtered to a specific Agent. Open the All Agents dropdown and select your own name to see them.
Can I reset an Agent’s dismissed or acted-on opportunities?
No. Dismissed and Acted On opportunities are cleared automatically each night for all users, including when viewed from an Admin account. There is no manual reset option.
Does the Price Reduction threshold apply retroactively?
No. Changing the threshold only affects new Listing Reduced opportunities going forward. Opportunities already in an Agent’s Live Feed are not removed by changing the setting.
