Why do I need a BoomTown Number to use the BoomTown NOW App?
You need a BoomTown Number because it ensures all text message communication with your leads is logged in BoomTown, keeping your conversation history accessible and organized in one place.
The BoomTown NOW App is designed for fast lead follow-up — via calls, emails, and texts — and syncs directly with your leads' profiles in BoomTown. To accurately track those conversations, your BoomTown Number must be set up before you begin using the app.
Your leads will receive texts from your BoomTown Number. To make sure they can reach you by phone, you can enable call forwarding so incoming calls route to you directly.
Can Broker/Admin users view their agents' leads in the BoomTown NOW App?
Yes, Broker/Admin users can view all leads in the system — including leads not assigned to them. As a Broker/Admin, you can:
View a lead's profile and conversation history
Edit the lead's profile
Change the lead's category
Transfer the lead to another agent or lender
Can I sort my leads by category in the BoomTown NOW App?
Yes, you can sort leads by category in the BoomTown NOW App. To view and sort your leads by lead type and category, navigate to the Leads tab. From there, you can filter the full list of your leads by the category that's most relevant to you.
Why can't I find certain leads in the BoomTown NOW App?
If leads are missing from your list in the BoomTown NOW App, active filters are most likely hiding them. The Leads tab supports filtering by Agent, Sort By, Type, and Category — if any of these are set, only matching leads will appear.
To clear your filters and restore the full lead list, follow these steps:
Tap the Leads icon at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the filter icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of the screen.
The Filter Leads panel will open, showing all active filters including Agent, Sort By, Type, and Category.
Manually deselect any active filters — toggle off any Type selections, deselect any highlighted Category buttons, and reset the Agent or Sort By fields as needed.
Tap Done in the top right corner.
Your lead list will reload and display all unfiltered results.
Note: Broker/Admin users should also check the Agent filter — if it is set to a specific agent, only that agent's leads will be visible.
I accidentally dismissed a card — where can I find that notification?
If you dismiss a card on your Waiting On You page, there is currently no way to restore it directly in the app. Here are two ways to find the information:
Search for the lead: If you remember the lead's name, use the search bar at the top of the page to go directly to their profile.
Check the Live Feed in your CRM: Access your full CRM on desktop and navigate to the Opportunity Wall. Under the Live Feed tab, you should see a record of the dismissed card.
How far back do my Past Due To-Dos display in the BoomTown NOW App?
In the BoomTown NOW App, the Past Due tab only displays To-Dos from the last 7 days. To view your complete Past Due To-Do history, log in to the full version of your CRM on desktop.
What is a "Suggested Text"?
A Suggested Text is an introduction message template that appears when you open a lead profile that has no prior conversation. It gives you a ready-to-send starting point to kick off the conversation.
This feature is currently available for iOS users only. When it appears, you can either send the suggested template as-is or swap it for a different template from your available options.
Note: The Suggested Text is not an automated message — it will not send on its own. It is a prompt to help you start the conversation.
