Traffic Dashboard (Broker/Admin)

Learn how to use BoomTown's Traffic Dashboard to track website visits, lead registrations, top traffic sources, and top content pages.

The Traffic Dashboard gives Broker/Admins insight into where website traffic is coming from, how visitors are engaging with your site, and which pages are performing best.

To access the Traffic Dashboard, expand the Reporting section in your left-hand navigation menu and select Traffic Dashboard.

Note: The Traffic Dashboard refreshes daily between 3:00–4:00 PM EDT. If you're viewing the report before 3:00 PM EDT, the data may be approximately 24 hours behind. Check back after 4:00 PM EDT for up-to-date figures.

Dashboard Tabs

The Traffic Dashboard is organized into three tabs:

  • Traffic by Source — Where your leads and visitors are coming from

  • Overall Traffic — Visit counts, session duration, and location data

  • Top Content Pages — Which pages on your site are being viewed most

Traffic by Source

Select a time frame from the dropdown menu at the top of the page to filter the report.

Total Traffic Overview

At the top of the report, you'll see a summary for the selected time period covering four metrics:

Metric

Description

Visits

The number of visits during the selected date range. A single visitor can visit your site multiple times within a day, week, or month, so visits will typically be greater than visitors. Includes desktop, mobile, and app visits.

Visitors

The number of unique people who visited during the selected date range. Includes both registered and non-registered visitors to your website or app.

All Leads Visiting

The number of unique leads who visited during the selected date range. Includes new and returning leads who visited your website or app.

New Leads Registered

The number of unique conversions on your site during the selected date range. Excludes auto-import, bulk import, manually imported, and reverse lookup leads.

New Leads Traffic

A bar graph shows New Leads Registered by Original Source for the selected time period. The Original Source is pulled from BoomTown's internal source list. Sources that aren't on that list — such as vanity domains — will appear as UNKNOWN.

To the right of the bar graph, you'll see:

  • Total number of New Leads Registered

  • New Leads showing High Activity

  • New Leads who completed a Contact Form

Use the Filter by Source dropdown to drill down by a specific source. Click any section to view the corresponding leads in Lead Central.

Tip: If you or your agents use the Link Generator tool to build tracking links, hover over "Original Source" and click [+] to view Campaigns. This breaks down traffic by individual tracking link, which is helpful when multiple tracking links share the same source.

Traffic Based On

This section displays Visits, Visitors, and All Leads Visiting data broken down by source. To the right of the bar graph, you'll also see:

  • Mobile website or app visit counts

  • Visits considered High Activity

  • Visits that included a Contact Form submission

Click any source bar to drill down for additional data.
