In addition to New, Price Reduced, Under Contract, and Pending listings, e-Alerts can include recently sold property data. This gives both buyers and sellers valuable market context that they can't easily find elsewhere.
Note: Sold data is not available through all MLSs. Contact our Support Team if you have questions about availability in your area.
Why Include Sold Data?
Sold data is useful for both buyer and seller leads:
Buyers use sold data to evaluate whether a listing's asking price is fair. This data comes directly from you via BoomTown, which is often faster than third-party sites.
Sellers are often also potential buyers. Over 60% of home shoppers are not first-time buyers, meaning dormant leads may re-engage when they see relevant sold activity.
How Sold Data Appears in e-Alerts
When sold listings match a lead's search criteria, they appear in a Recently Sold Properties section within the e-Alert email. Up to four listings display, with a link to view more on the website. Each listing shows the sale date, address, and sale price.
Sold data covers the past 90 days on a rolling basis. Anything older would be outdated for a time-based notification system like e-Alerts.
When a lead clicks a sold listing, they're taken to the full property details page, which shows listing images, property details, a sold sash with the sale date and price, and full listing history including price reductions.
Note: The properties count shown within the e-Alert does not reflect Pending or Sold listings, as these are not active statuses.

Sold Data FAQs
Can I use the map polygon tool with sold data e-Alerts? Yes. All standard e-Alert settings and functionality apply. Sold data is simply an additional listing status checkbox in the e-Alert criteria.
Why don't I have access to sold data? Some MLS boards and states restrict access to sold data. Contact our Support Team and they'll connect you with the right team to investigate availability in your area.
